Our specialists in Cardiology are available 24/7/365 with response times of five minutes or less for true emergencies, fifteen minutes for urgent conditions, and thirty minutes for non-urgent conditions and follow-up calls. While the intent in the primary service line is outlined above, some facilities may have needs that extend beyond the ED and the immediate care of cardiac patients. As such, while still in the inpatient setting, we can offer ongoing care of patients that may have lingering but non-urgent issues, or for non-urgent inpatient consultation services in the inpatient setting.
We can also offer first-call services for larger facilities that have full coverage but may want to lessen the burden of the primary on-call team, which allows for better focusing of the “front-line” resources.
